Ana Gonzales bio

Ana Gonzalez de Jorgenson was born in Mexico to a family of musicians. Her childhood was spent listening to classic and old boleros, along with traditional romantic and Ranchero songs. Ana is an avid fan of Tangos. She also loves operas, and every form of dramatic performance. Following her singing lessons with mom at the age of 12, she took up more rigorous training in singing at 16 under the tutelage by renowned Mexican Tenor FlavioBecerra. In Guadalajara, she attended the School of Music of University of Guadalajara as well as in Toluca at The School of Sacred Music. In Guadalajara and Mexico City, she was an active member of numerous opera ensembles as well as chamber groups. After moving from Mexico to America in 2000, she performed with the Fort Lauderdale Symphony Chorus. She's a frequent solo performer for private events and parties, performing traditional Latin American Music. She has been involved with a number of local initiatives and is a teacher and performer because of her passion for music and arts. Ana has also been a former member of the Community Chorus of Redlands, the Inland Master Chorale, and the Performance Loft. Ana is a fan of the traditional Latin American songs and hopes to inspire other people to follow in her footsteps.
